Loretta Lynn’s Friday – Report
Today was the end of the second motos and the beginning of the third motos, which means champs were crowned, and the races were better than they have been all week. Here’s a run down of the champs and what went on during the motos.

Hoeft has had a solid week going 1-1 into the third moto, he finished second, but that would still give him the overall. Chase Sexton finished first followed by Hoeft and Tanner Stack took third. Hoeft finished first overall, Stack second, and Sean Cantrell third.

Possibly the most exciting class to watch this week was the 250 B stock class. The first moto was where Shane Mcelrath finished first and put his name on the map this week. Second moto Cooper Webb got a great start and won. So going into the third moto these two racers were tied for points, so the pressure was on and they made it a great show, but in the end Cooper Webb came out on top, followed by Mcelrath and the two seemed satisfied with how the racing went.

The 85 (9-11) mod class was won by Jordan Bailey, but Carter Halpain got the third moto win, which put him in second place overall. Halpain seemed happier with a second place overall than most of the champs here this week. Bailey went 1-1-2 for the overall, and he also won the stock class as well.

From the time the first gate dropped in the 250 A Class, Bell left the pack and won all three motos to take home one championship here this week before turning pro at Southwick. Zach Bell, after some bad luck in the first two motos of the Open Pro Sport class finally got the moto win, and finished third in that class.

Rider DiFrancesco went 1-1-1 for the Championship yet again this year. As soon as the gate dropped, he grabbed the holeshot and led the entire race.

The first moto of the 450 B Stock class was definitely one of the best all week. Luke Clout had the lead on Bisceglia, and they duked it out until Bisceglia finally got around him. Second moto was a little more easier for Bisceglia and he took that moto win as well. Going into the third moto, Bisceglia didn’t need a win to secure the first overall position in the championship, so instead of going all out to get a moto win, he rode consistent and smart while Clout was leading. However, Clout made a big mistake, to which Bisceglia capitalized and ended up getting the third moto win anyway. Bisceglia would finish in this class taking a 1-1-1 for the overall, followed by Clout and Dawson Draycott.

No Surprise that Adam Cianciarulo would walk away from this week with at least one title. I’m 100% sure that this kid could line up anywhere on the gate and still get the holeshot. After grabbing the holeshot, Cianciarulo kept putting in consistent, insanely fast laps until the checkered flag. Mitchell Harrison would finish second followed by Tristan Miller which would put the Championship looking like: Adam Cianciarulo, Harrison, Miller. Once on the podium, Adam dedicated his Supermini Championship to that of the late Jesse Masterpool.

Jesse Wentland has had an awesome week! He’s putting in consistent finishes and that’s what counts. Wentland took the overall in the open pro sport class going 1-1-2. In the 450 A class wetland has also put in some great motos and showing that he has what it takes to be a champ.

Jordan Bailey has completely dominated his classes this week. Both classes he’s taken home the overalls. He has done all the right things to turn in the results he’s received.

As the let moto of the Junior 25+ class lined up into the gate, once again, the fences and overlook towers were crowded with fans to watch Ricky Carmichael’s final moto of the week. Ricky got a decent start and a lap or so in, Robbie Reynard decided to give a go at racing the GOAT. They put on a great show and a great race for a few laps until Reynard faded back to second and Ricky took the lead and kept it that way the rest of the race. When he came off of the track, the bleachers behind the podium, as well as the fence, were all packed with fans waiting to congratulate him on his national championship. Definitely an awesome experience to see the return of Carmichael to racing here at the Ranch!
