Round 2 of Monster Energy Supercross – Lites Supercross Class – Phoenix, AZ
Right out of the gate was Tyla Rattray getting the Nuclear Cowboy holeshot, but Dean Wilson would steal the lead before the first lap was over. Rattray would hold second for a few laps until Musquin would put a quick pass on him.
Last weeks winner, Seely, got a mid pack start and put on a good charge to move his way up to fourth. As the rest of field was filtering its self out, Wilson had already checked out and looked as if the win was in the bag. Tomac got bad jump on the gate and had to work his way through traffic the whole race and by lap 7 he moved up into fifth right behind Seely. He slowly reared Seely’s tire and made a nice block pass on him on lap twelve and would finish up their. As they crossed the finish line it was Wilson, Musquin, Rattray, Tomac, and Seely.
Marvin Musquin is starting to figure it out as he grabbed the holeshot tonight and was able to hold on for second.
