A1 Supercross Lites Class – Report

Jan/1/12

Vince Friese would grab the Nuclear Cowboyz Holeshott and $1000 holeshot award in the Lites main, as Tyla Rattray snuck up the inside with Will Hahn right on the outside. Rattray wouldn’t waste anytime as he would take over the lead in the first lap. Hahn came into trouble as Rattray’s teammate Dean Wilson would find him self into the second position. Wilson soon had some serious pressure coming from Cole Seely. One lap later Seely would make a pass stick on Wilson and set his sights on the leader, Tyla Rattray.

Seely was a man on a mission, sucking Rattray in like a piece of dirt to a vacuum. Both riders started to trade plastic, putting the crowd on their feet. Seely would get the short end of the stick and fall back a little. It wasn’t enough to hold him back, as Seely would charge right back on the heels of Rattray, pressuring him and making the pass. Soon Hahn who was running a strong fourth would go down around the outdoor section and dropping him outside of the top 5.

As Seely would extend his lead, Rattray and Wilson would play cat and mouse. As the laps started to run out, Eli Tomac after a bad start quietly was sneaking up on Wilson who was in the second position. On the very last lap with only 5 corners to go Tomac would make a hard push into the inside, soon Wilson would find his front tire washing out and on the ground. Tomac secured himself the third and final podium position as Rattray would get second and Seely would take win.

Dean Wilson didn’t have the night he was looking for after his front tire washed out in a heated battle for third on the last lap.

Dude, whoever dropped that gate so late needs to be fired. He or she screwed so many people by doing that. Congrats to JA44 comin from last to 7th. Hopefully he can podium next time, so long as a retard isnt operating the gate.
