CSMX Blog #5
Well last month was the final National of the year and boy was it a good one . Its been since 2007 since I have been back to Gatorback for Mini O’S. I want to talk about a couple of riders that I had there under the CSMXTraining tent.
First, we’ll start off with the little man that everyone loves, the # 199 of Ryder Difrancesco. This kid just flat out killed it all week. In SX he hada couple 2nds and a third in one moto. Finished off the SX with a podiumfinish in the 4-6 50cc class. Then on Wednesday we moved over to theoutdoor track and this is where he really put it down. With great startsand line selection, which became very important for these little guys, Ryder walked away with the overall and another Championship. This kid has agreat career ahead of him as an amatuer rider.

Next kid I want to mention is J.R Reyes. J.R rides the 50 7-8 and 65 6-9classes. J.R is an up and coming rider that I will be working with this year. He has great style and works hard on and off the bike. He rode greatat Mini O’s, just struggled with bad starts and trying to come from behind every moto. I expect this kid to be running up near the front of the 6-9 65cc class come Freestone and Oak Hill.
Tanner Amarillas has been a part of my training program for a year now. I started working with Tanner last year on 65′s and now he has made the jumpto the 9-11 85 class. Mini O’s went really well for Tanner, had great starts and several top ten moto finishes in a tough 9-11 class. Expectations going in to Mini O’s was to try to be in the top 15, and come out of there with some experience and healthy.

So thats kind of an overview of the week some of my riders had. All in all it was a great experience for them and there families. Anyone that isinvolved in this sport knows the dedication and sacrifices these kids and PARENTS make to achieve their dreams, to one day become the next big thing. The training and preparing these kids do is beyond anything you can, or could imagine. They prepare themselves as if they were going into a ten round boxing match or a UFC fight, day in and day out, five days a week sometimes . The heart and dedication these young kids put in compares to no other sport in the world!
In order to achieve the goals that these kids have, and will continue to have, takes a lot of work. No matter how hard it is, or how hard it gets attimes, always tell yourself, I CAN!!!! And you will have a path of success.I am a firm believer that what you do during the week, will show in your results on the weekend.
Last, but not least, I want to say THANK YOU to all my riders who put in the hard work all year and achieved their gaols. With your hard work you guys won 16 NATIONAL TITLES !! I can’t wait to see what next year has to offer CSMX Training. Again thanks to all the parents for letting your kid be a part of CSMX Training in 2011.
