Upgrades – 150 : Video

Oct/10/11

This is the first installment of Upgrades! With a brand new Honda CRF150 in hand we decided to get a few minor upgrades. These are upgrades that not only need to be done to any bike for racing, but are inexpensive . Since we were working with a carbureted bike the first thing we did was to work on getting the bog out. Tokyo Mods helped their and put us onto more horse power with an ignition. Next we needed tires, something up to date. Thats where Dunlop stepped in and set us up with some 51′s. Next up was a pipe, we went with something a little different this time and it worked out amazing. The Leo Vince’ X3 was the weapon of choice. After a little complaining about the suspension at the intro of the 150 we knew that we had to get some suspension done. MB1 was the only person in mind, why you ask? Because anyone who has worked for Factory Showa for Honda would be the best choice for setting up any Honda. You can’t have a race bike with out numbers and graphics. As much as we liked the 0 we had on it we knew Impulse Graphics could crush that and that did exactly that with some fresh graphics. Finally we knew that we needed some new controls to replace those stock bars. Pro Taper took their place along with some Pro Taper grips. We will have a complete review of the items and what Buddy thought coming up soon, but until then here is the video.
