World Mini Thursday : Photo Report
Brock Bennett lead it from start to finish in the 50 Pee Wee Mod Thru 6 today.

Cooper Webb dominated the entire field in the 85/150 Mod 14-16.

Jordon Smith on the #62 Suzuki hasn’t been having the greatest of weeks and this moto was so so. He should have been battling with the likes of Webb, but after a tip over he had to work his way back to the second position.

Troy Graffunder keeps on impressing us here at World Mini. He started in fifth and instantly worked his way into the second spot, and it wasn’t until the very end until he got passed back by Smith.

Stilez Robertson added another win to his list in the 50 Pee Wee Mod 7-8 class.
Photo: AWhite
The #762 of Justin Lee started third and didn’t waste anytime making his way into the lead on his big ‘ole 250 2 stroke in the first division of the 250 Mod Novice class.

David King just got back on the bike a couple of weeks ago after his broken arm at the 2010 Amateur Open. He was on the gas and put himself into the second spot, and would finish the moto there.

Division #2 started to turn into a 3 way battle for the lead.
Photo: AWhite
The #559 of Dylan Merriam took the lead and started to gap the rest, but at the end came under pressure from the #114 of Zach Nazzise. Merriam held on and got the win.

Gabriel Jairala impressed us in Texas and is doing the same here at the World Mini. After getting a huge gap in the opening laps, he fell down on the very last lap and was covered in mud. Even a sleeve rolled up and mud all over couldn’t hold him back from getting the W.

Kainosuke Oshiro, yeah we couldn’t pronounce the name either, but we better start getting used to it as this little guy is a ripper. He has been catching our eye for 2 reasons, one, he’s the only Kawasaki 65 in the top 10, and two, he has been taking down some big names. Second is what he was able to nail down in division 1 of the 65 Jr. Cycle Open 6-11, right behind the #111.

In probably one of the best battles we saw all day, maybe even all week, was with the likes of #82 of Garrett Marchbanks. Marchbanks put it down, as it was a 3 way battle for the lead the whole moto. It wasn’t until the very end when Marchbanks some how made a pass stick on Mitchell Falk to take the win.
Photo: AWhite
Mumford started out with the early and put up a fight when under some serious pressure from the #612 of Falk and #82 of Marchbanks. In the end Mumford had to settle for third, and it was the youngest gun up front. Falk would go on to get a very respectable second place finish.

Green started off with a comfortable lead in the 85/150 Mod 12-13 division 1.
Photo: AWhite
Then Hoeft started applying the pressure, and he made the pass once, but Green instantly slammed the door and took it back before the lap was over.
Photo: AWhite
Just went we thought Green was going to get the win, Hoeft put on a last lap charge and closed the door to take the lead and the win.
Photo: AWhite
Division 2 started to turn into a 4 way battle for the lead, and at any moment any one of these 4 riders could take the lead if another messed up.
Photo: AWhite
Soon Bell started to really put the pressure on Miller who was out front. Miller almost lost the lead, but railed the outside and shut the door here and held on.
Photo: AWhite
Bell then fell down right behind Miller, causing Wentworth to get stuck on him. This let Worth close up the ground on Wentworth and let Miller get away.
Photo: AWhite
Wentworth started getting some serious pressure from Worth and the lappers weren’t helping. Wentworth almost lost it due to a lapper, but saved it and finished in the second spot.
Photo: AWhite
After Bell fell down the first time, Miller started to check out. He would get the win in division 2.
Photo: AWhite
Worth rode strong and almost made the pass on Wentworth for the second spot, but had to settle for third.
Photo: AWhite
Bell fell again, needless to say it was a rough moto.
Photo: AWhite
Right after the break was the 250 Mod Int division 1, and it was muddy. A lot of the top guys went down early on and had to work their way from the back, Burns being one of them. He came from 17th to get 2nd, it was an impressive ride.
Photo: AWhite
Blake Lilly had a strong moto and at the end was all over Burns for the second spot. He couldn’t make anything stick and would have to settle for third.
Photo: AWhite
Steven Tokarski did what needed to be done, he started top 3 and stayed up when everyone else was going down. Because of this he was rewarded with moto win.
Photo: AWhite
Summers nailed the start on division number 2.
Photo: AWhite
Then the battle began, Savatgy and Summers battled it out all the way out till the end. Savatgy actually had the pass for a minute, but Summers made a quick ditch effort and got it right back.
Photo: AWhite
Summers would go on to get the W in division #2.
Photo: AWhite
Next up is the 250 Mod Pro, Bogle got his usual bad start and was coming from behind as Ransdell was having a great moto and finished up in the fourth spot.
Photo: AWhite
Hayes had the early lead and started to get a gap, but then the #617 of Gavin Faith started to catch up and made the pass to take over the lead.
Photo: AWhite
Bogle started to catch up to the rear end of Hayes who was in second and all over Faith. Then bad luck struck and Bogle went down, but he was able to recover and finish in the third spot.
Photo: AWhite
It was this close at the end of the moto.
Photo: AWhite
Gavin Faith put it all together and nailed the win.
Photo: AWhite
Nichols nailed down the win in the 450 Mod Int moto. This class doesn’t have any divisions so it counts towards the final score.
Photo: AWhite
Alldredge nailed the start in the 125 2 stroke Non Pro moto and left the rest in the dust.
Photo: AWhite
The #98 of Claudio Leocata has Alldredge in his sights for a little, but made a mistake and fell down. He still railed his way to a second place finish in the moto.
Photo: AWhite
Peters nailed the start in the 450 Mod Pro moto and also hit the big double.
Photo: AWhite
This how the top 3 start to play out. Peters your leader, Faith second, and Bogle in third.
Photo: AWhite
Faith made the pass early on and started to get a gap. Bogle was having trouble getting going and then started his redemption as he scrubs under Peters off the triple to get the pass for second.
Photo: AWhite
Then Bogle made a pass stick at the top of the hill.
Photo: AWhite
Then Hayes came into the battle, Faith was still out front. A lap later Hayes would fall down.
Photo: AWhite
Bogle was close and then lost ground, but on the last lap he made a push for the lead. It was very close!
Photo: AWhite
In the end it was Faith who would get the moto win, his second on the day.
